01. Explore on foot in winter
Savour the silence and the purity of the snow, treat yourself to the pleasure of walking through fields and forests on snowshoes!
The Molino Ruatti museum is an old watermill at the entrance to the Val di Rabbi, a gateway to the past, offering a chance to learn about the valley’s culture and how Alpine life used to be in days gone by.
The mill machinery is still working, giving visitors an understanding of how the millers used to work and getting an insight into the local diet. The museum also includes the 19th century family home with original furnishings and everyday objects, brought to life by the guides who lead you through this historical journey, telling the story of the region and its culture through the eyes of its inhabitants.
The Mulino Ruatti Museum is open to visitors from 30/06 to 06/09 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays from 10:00 to 12:00 and 14:30 to 18:30.
At other times of the year, visits are available by appointment.
