From the Fontanon parking area, the trail begins on a dirt road along path number 109. Shortly after, keep left and follow a grassy path that leads to Malga Tremenesca Bassa. From here, climb through the forest until you meet the dirt road leading to Malga Tremenesca Alta, and follow it until you reach the last hairpin bend before the hut.
The Malga Tremenesca is located at an elevation of 2,004 meters, and from its position, you can enjoy views of the Val di Rabbi and, in front of you, Malga Monte Sole Alta. The trail to the hut is not particularly difficult, requiring only some physical preparation and a lot of enthusiasm for discovering new places, passing by characteristic alpine huts and green pastures. Once you reach the hut, take a short break to catch your breath, enjoy the scenery, and greet the friendly cows grazing on the mountain.
