Malga Monte Sole Tour is an enchanting tour through the wild, unspoiled landscape. The route begins at the Plazze dei Forni car park where e-bikes are available for hire during the summer.
Follow the road alongside the Rabbies river to Terme di Rabbi. Immediately afterwards, turn off onto the forest track signed for Malga Monte Sole and Fontanon car park. Head uphill for a few kilometres along the road. Just before the car park, turn right onto the track signed for Malga Monte Sole.
This takes you first to Malga Monte Sole Bassa (1,759 m) and then on to Malga Monte Sole at 2,053 m. This fully restored Alpine dairy serves food and drinks. The tour then continues towards Malga Fassa, where you descend to Fontanon car park and retrace the uphill part of the tour, returning to the starting point at Plazze dei Forni.
