Hike to Malga Garbella Alta in the Stunning Val di Rabbi.
This itinerary involves a hike with a vertical gain of about 800 meters, leading to Malga Garbella Alta, located at an altitude of 2,098 meters in the enchanting Val di Rabbi.
The hike starts from Penasa, a small hamlet in Val di Rabbi, and takes about 2 and a half hours to reach the malga. The trail stretches for approximately 6 kilometers, and along the way, you will encounter beautiful landscapes and the opportunity to observe cows grazing in the pastures during the summer months.
Directions to Follow:
From the small hamlet of Penasa, located in Val di Rabbi above San Bernardo, follow the marked trail towards Malga Garbella Bassa. Continue on to reach Malga Garbella Alta at 2,098 meters, where you’ll be rewarded with a spectacular view of the entire Val di Rabbi.
