A varied circular tour with e-bikes, taking in different aspects of the valley, from streams to larch forests and passing traditional mountain farmhouses. The route starts from the Plazze dei Forni car park, following a gravel track along the banks of the Rabbies river, past the old Venetian sawmill, until reaching the Gran Hotel delle Terme.
Here, take the second turning on the left and following a level gravel track. Continue along the track as far as the suspension bridge, then turn right, following signs for Malga Stablasolo. After a steep climb, you reach the tarmacked road. Turn back on yourselves and ride towards Somrabbi.
Follow the road until you emerge from the forest and there take the gravel track that first heads uphill and then undulates gently as you approach the Cavallar car park. From the car park, continue on the gravel track until Malga Caldesa Bassa, which is a rustic and welcoming refreshment point. From Malga Caldesa Bassa return to Cavallar car park, then descend on the tarmacked road through typical Rabbi hamlets until you reach Penasa, where you turn right to descend to the valley floor and return to the car park.
